Appearing in person at the Visa Counter in IVACS in Bangladesh
You must appear at the IVACS in Bangladesh on the given date and time, with two medical visa application printouts and two photocopies of your passport’s first page. This page has your name, picture, passport details, and specified documents.
The application counter guides you about the medical visa fee and the payment. Biometrics, such as a photo of this and a fingerprint, will be taken.
Your original passport, original documents, and visa fee will be accepted by the officers at the counter. You need to visit the office again to collect your original documents and passport.

A patient having an e-medical visa can come with two attendants who have e-medical attendant visas.
You can apply for an e-medical visa and e-medical attendants’ visas at least 4 days before the date of arrival in India.
You have to upload a clear and recent front-facing passport-size photograph with a white background for both e-medical visa and e-medical attendants’ visas while submitting e-medical visa applications.
You have to upload the first page of your passport for both e-medical visa and e-medical attendants’ visas while submitting e-medical visa applications.
You have to pay for the e-medical visa and the e-medical attendants’ visa fee at least 4 days before the travel date to India; otherwise, the e-medical visa application will not be processed successfully. The bank charges 2.5% extra for online bank transactions on e-medical visa fees.
You and your attendants should carry a copy of the ETA (electronic travel authorization) at the time of travel.
You have to confirm the ETA status (granted) on the e-medical visa website for both the patient and attendants before the commencement of the journey. You can check the status of your online application by clicking on visa status.
E-medical visa fee payment status can take 2 hours to update due to internal reasons. You have to wait for 2 hours for a status update after final submission of the e-visa application form and payment before re-applying or re-payment. If your e-medical visa status is not updated, but payment is deducted from your account. If you are living in a YELLOW FEVER country, then you and your attendants must carry a YELLOW FEVER VACCINATION CARD at the time of arrival in India; otherwise, you will be quarantined for 6 days upon arrival in India.
